Am reading the most awaited one night @ call center by Chetan Bhagat and thoroughly enjoying the book. I don’t know why I need a book to start blogging again. Maybe don’t have anything interesting happening in my life apart from reading a book; watching a movie or a weekend party. What a dull life. Ok enough of Self pity; back to the book. May be I am enjoying the book so much because of the many similarities I see in there with my life.
One of them is Bakshi; the obnoxious manager; I can fully sympathies with Shyam because my first manager was even worse then Bakshi. Shyam at least knew he was being screwed; we did not realize it for first three months although we (Team of five) were screwed day in day night. We had to bear daily dose of three hours lessons on a Kerberos and Encryption for every simple query like how to connect to database (from a guy; who did not know anything about those things apart from the spelling) But when we had enough we had enough and decided to hit back. And what a hit it was; Mr. Know it all was dumped out of the team he was leading. I think he will have nightmares about encryption; decryption and Kerberos for the rest of his life…
Now let’s see what Mr. Shyam does to Bakshi. Will he take this shit for the rest of his life or give it all back to him with compliments…
